The Patriot football team strapped on the pads Thursday for the first time this season. Although contact was somewhat limited during the Thursday and Friday morning sessions, the guys managed to perform all their drills while in full gear.
Contact is expected to ramp up Friday evening in preparation for Saturday's Patriot Day festivities which begin at 9:00 a.m. at
Red Bridge Baptist Church, located just west of US 71 Highway at the SW corner of Red Bridge and Grandview Roads. Patriot Day is anticipated to be the first opportunity for the team to have a full-contact scrimmage.
